During the tour, we visit capital of Georgia – Tbilisi and one of the most beautiful and exotic provinces of the country – Svaneti. We visit Caucasus snowy mountains and glaciers with fantastic and breathtaking landscapes, ancient cultural monuments located in remote places  of high mountains and get to know local Georgian traditions and culture. We also visit old churches covered with beautiful frescoes and towers, enduring centuries and being a symbol of Svaneti. Of course, we taste delicious dishes of Georgian cuisine and enjoy Georgian hospitality.

Day 1

The first day of the tour takes place in the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. After wandering through the narrow streets and districts of the old town, we visit Abanotubani, famous with sulfur bathes. The place is related to foundation of Tbilisi, as according to the legend, king Vakhtang Gorgasali discovered this place in the 5th century and decided to build a city on this location. During the tour, we also visit ancient Narikala Fortress, Anchiskhati Church of the 6th century, monument of Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) and other sightseeing.

Day 2

Tbilisi – Kutaisi
Our journey continues towards the western part of Georgia, to one of the ancient cities of the country – Kutaisi. On our way, we visit karst cave of Prometheus and Gelati Monastery and Academy of the 12th century (UNESCO). After reaching Kutaisi, we start wandering through old districts and streets of the city and visit Bagrati Temple of the 11th century.

Day 3

Kutaisi – Becho
On the third day we leave Kutaisi and drive towards one of the most beautiful villages of Svaneti – Becho, located at the bottom of Ushba Mountain. On our way, we stop in Zugdidi and visit Dadiani Palace of the 18th century. We also have a stop at Enguri Reservoir to see one of the biggest hydro power plant (HPP) in Transcaucasia. In the evening, we reach village Becho and have free time to relax.

Day 4

Becho – Shdugra waterfall – Becho
We start hiking towards Shdugra waterfall in the morning. Part of the road we drive by a car afterwards taking a walk towards the beautiful waterfall of Shdugra. After midday, we have free time to relax.

Day 5

Becho – Guli Pass – Mestia
On the fifth day, we take a direction towards Mestia via Guli Pass, from where we have an opportunity to take a delight in breathtaking and beautiful views of the region. On our way, we visit abandoned village of Guli and reach Mestia in the evening.

Day 6

Mestia – Glacier Chalaadi – Mestia
We start morning with hiking towards the glacier Chalaadi. Afterwards, we visit museum of Mestia and the old traditional Svanetian house called Machubi. In the evening, we have free time to relax.

Day 7

Mestia – Chvabiani – Adishi
Today we drive towards the village Chvabiani, from where we start hiking to the village Adishi. On our way, we pass Tetnuldi Ski Resort, which is supposed to be the longest and the largest vertical slope in Transcaucasia after completing construction. Afterwards, we continue our journey towards the village Adishi.

Day 8

Adishi – Iprali
We start hiking towards Iprali. On our way, we cross a river riding horses and continue hiking towards Chkhutnieri pass and village Iprali. On our way, we visit village Khalde.

Day 9

Iprali – Ushguli
Today we leave village Iprali and start hiking towards the UNESCO world heritage site – Ushguli, one of the highest populated villages in Europe. Hiking path takes place on a mountain slope overlooking the gorge of the river Enguri, where Mestia-Ushguli road goes through.

Day 10

Ushguli – Glacier Shkhara – Ushguli
Today we visit Lamaria Monastery of the 9th-10th centuries, exotic Towers of Svaneti and Ethnographic Museum. After passing along the gorge of Enguri river we reach the bottom of the highest peak of Georgia – Shkhara (5193 m), from where is possible to see a glacier and the source of Enguri River.

Day 11

Ushguli – Mestia
In the morning, we drive back to Mestia. On our way, we have a stop at Hatsvali Ski Resort at the restaurant Zuruldi with breathtaking views of Tetnuldi and Ushba maintains. Here we have some free time to relax and enjoy views.

Day 12

Mestia – Martvili – Gordi
Today, we drive towards Samegrelo region to visit Martvili canyon, where we take a boat trip through the narrow rocks of Martvili canyon. Afterwards, we continue our journey towards Okatse canyon, where we have approximately one hour of hiking on the hanging bridge along Okatse canyon.

Day 13

Gordi – Tbilisi
On the last day of our journey, we drive towards Mtskheta, once the capital of Georgian Kingdom – Iberia, where Christianity became official religion in 337. After visiting Svetitskhoveli Cathedral of the 11th century and Jvari Monastery of the 6th century (UNESCO) we drive back to Tbilisi.
