Jeep Tour in Tusheti
During the tour, we explore Tusheti – one of the unique provinces of Caucasus Mountains located in eastern part of Georgia. We cross an extreme and beautiful Abano Pass with off-road vehicles. We have an opportunity to get to know highlander traditions and culture, discover ancient villages and fortresses located on steep slopes of high mountains. We taste delicious dishes of Georgian cuisine and dairy products prepared according to the local traditional method and enjoy Georgian hospitality.

The first day of the tour takes place in the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. After wandering through narrow streets and districts of the old town, we visit Abanotubani, famous with sulfur bathes. The place is related to the foundation of Tbilisi, as according to the legend, king Vakhtang Gorgasali discovered this place in the 5th century and decided to build a city on this location. During the tour, we also visit ancient Narikala Fortress, Anchiskhati Church of the 6th century, Monument of Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) and other sightseeing.

Tbilisi – Omalo
We drive with off-road vehicles from Tbilisi to Omalo via Gombori and Abano passes (2950 m). On our way to Omalo, we visit Alaverdi Cathedral of the 11th century, Abano pass with breathtaking views of Tusheti and Kakheti, Keselo Fortress and ethnographic museum in Omalo.

Omalo – Diklo – Shenako
In the morning, we take a direction towards village Diklo. We have two hours of hiking towards Old Diklo – border village with spectacular views of Dagestani Mountains. We walk around the ruins of the fortress-village constructed on a steep slope of a rocky mountain. The purpose of the fortress was to defend village from enemy attack. Afterwards, our journey continues to the village Shenako, where we visit church and walk around the village. We have some free time in the evening.

Shenako – Girevi – Dartlo
Today our journey continues towards Girevi. We visit three villages: Girevi, Parsma and Chesho. After a short break, we continue driving to the forth village called Dartlo. We visit the church of the 19th century and the court of the 18th century, where among the twelve elder judges the chief used to be a woman. If wanted, we may also visit the village Kvavlo.

Dartlo – Bochorna – Mirgvela
Our trip continues towards the direction of beautiful gorge of Gometsari and the highest populated place in Europe –Bochorna village (2345 m). We visit village Dochu, built on a steep slope of a rocky mountain and after a short break continue journey towards Mirgvela village.
Overnight in Mirgvela
Mirgvela – Telavi – Tbilisi
We return to Tbilisi via Omalo and Abano pass. On our way, we stop to explore the city of Telavi and visit Shuamta Monastery, afterwards continue driving to Tbilisi via Gombori pass.
